Letter Matching Game

Thirty cards. Eight letter cubes. One very occupied grandchild.

Each flash card shows a picture on one side and the word on the other. Your grandchild lays a card in the tray, picks the right letter cubes, and spells it out — one satisfying click at a time.

It sounds simple. Watch how seriously they take it.

The game covers 60 words across 30 cards — enough variety to stay interesting long after the first run-through. Most children will work through a set, shuffle, and start again without being asked.

Something to play together

This is one of those toys that works just as well sitting across from a grandchild as it does watching them go solo. Take turns. Let them correct you. Pretend to get one wrong and enjoy the reaction.

The cards are chunky enough for small hands to manage, and the letter cubes click into place cleanly — nothing fiddly, nothing frustrating.

Grows with them

At three or four, they're matching picture to word with a little help. By five, they're spelling independently and testing themselves. Some children start reading their first words off the back of these cards.
